学习终身的职业

        学习对于心智，正如食物对于肌体。随着有营养的食物的适量摄入，我们的身体才得以成长，我们的肌肉才得以形成。同理，要保持头脑的敏锐和智力的增长，我们就应该一天都不间断地学习。不断学习，为砥砺我们的推理、分析和判断能力，提供了不竭的动力。不断学习，是跟上信息时代步伐的最可靠的方法，是在时代风云变幻中获得成功的可靠保证。

        一旦停止学习，单调乏味的生活就会开始。人们通常误以为学校是获得知识的唯一场所。恰恰相反，学习是个从生到死永无止境地过程。由于世界变化如此迅速，短短几天不学习，就会使人落后。更糟糕的是，蛰伏在我们潜意识深处的动物性本能就会复活。这将消磨我们追求祟高理想的意志，弱化我们扫除通向成功道路上障碍的决心，扼杀我们完善自己人格的愿望。缺乏学习会不可避免地导致思维的停滞，甚至是僵化。因此，要想心理上永葆青春，就必须把学习作为终身职业。

Learning: A LifelongCareer

As food is to the body, so is learning to the mind. Our bodies grow and muscles develop with the intake of adequate nutritious food. Likewise, weshould keep learning day by day to maintain our keen mental power and expand our intellectual capacity. Constant learning supplies us with inexhaustible fuel for driving us to sharpen our power of reasoning, analysis, and judgment.Learning incessantly is the surest way to keep pace with the times in the information age, and reliable warrant of success in times of uncertainty.

Once learning stops, vegetation sets in. It is a common fallacy to regard school as the only workshop for the acquisition of knowledge. On the contrary,learning should be a never-ending process, from the cradle to the grave. With the world changing so fast, to cease learning for just a few days will make aperson lag behind. What's worse, the animal instinct dormant deep in our sub-conscious will come to life. Weakening our will to pursue our noble ideas, undermining our determination to sweep away obstacles to our success and strangling our desire for the refinement of our character. Lack of learning will inevitably lead tothe stagnation of the mind,or even worse, its fossilization. Therefore, to stay mentally young, we have to take learning as a lifelong career.

要想心理上永葆青春，就必须把学习作为终身职业。

学无止境啊！天天学习能进步，分秒不学必落后！
