让爱在心里滋长

或许上帝要我们在遇到心上人之前，先遇到一些不合适的人，那样我们才会懂得对上帝的恩赐心存感激。
当幸福之门关闭时，另一扇门会打开，但我们常常长久地注视着关闭的这扇门，而看不到为我们打开的另一扇门。
最好的朋友是那样一类人，你可以和他一起坐在门厅，感觉非常开心，一言不发，感觉却像这是有生以来最好的交谈。
倾心于一个人并不能保证他也爱你。不要期待着爱是对等的，静静地等待爱在对方心里滋长，如果没有，要满足于爱在自己心里滋长。迷恋一个人需要一分钟，喜欢一个人需要一小时，爱上一个人需要一天，但忘记一个人却需要一生。
失去方知曾经拥有，相遇才知一直都在错过。
不要迷恋外貌，外貌会骗人。不要贪慕钱财，钱财会消失。去爱一个能使你微笑的人，因为微笑能使阴暗的天变得明亮进来。去寻找那个让你发出会心微笑的人。

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. |
