盐咖啡

他俩相遇在一个聚会上，她引人注目，是许多的人追逐目标：而他却平平常常，无人关注。
聚会结束时，他邀请她喝杯咖啡，她感到有点意外，但出于礼貌，还是同意了。他俩坐在一家不错的咖啡屋里，他紧张得说不出话来，她感到很不自在，心想：“请让我回家吧……” 他突然对服务员说：“请给我来点盐，我要把它加在咖啡里。”每个人都注视着他，太奇怪了！他的脸涨得通红，但他还是把盐放进咖啡里，喝掉了。她好奇地问：“你怎么会有这样的嗜好？”他答道：“我小时候，家住在大海边。我喜欢在海里玩耍。我可以感觉到海水的味道，像咸咖啡一样。现在我每次喝咸咖啡，都会想到我的童年，想到我的故乡，我非常想念的我家乡，想念我仍生活在海边的父母。”说着，他泪流满面。她被深深地打动了。那是发自心底的真情实感。一个能够讲出自己乡愁的男人，一定爱家，在乎家，对家负责任……接下来她开始说话，谈她自己遥远的故乡，谈她的童年，她的家人。 那确实是次温馨的谈话，也是他们美丽故事的开始。他们继续约会。她发现他容忍，善良，热情，细心，满足她对男人所有的要求。他是那么好的一个人，而她差点就错过了他。多亏了那杯咸咖啡！ 接下来像所有的美好爱情故事一样，公主嫁给了王子，然后就过上了幸福生活……每次她为他冲咖啡，都要放上些盐，因为她知道这是他喜欢的口味。 四十年后，他去世了，给她留下一封信，信上写：“我最亲爱的，请原谅我，原谅我终生的谎言。这是我唯一一次对你撒谎——咸咖啡。还记得我们第一次约会吗？那时，我太紧张了，实际上我想要糖，但我说成了盐。那时改口很难，我只能将错就错。我从没想过那会是我们交流的开始！我多次想开口告诉你真相，但我不敢启齿，因为我答应过你不会为任何事向你撒谎……现在我要死了，没什么可害怕的了，因此我要告诉你真相，我不喜欢喝咸咖啡。那是多么古怪的味道，太难喝了……但是我却喝了一辈子咸咖啡！自从认识你，我从没为任何为你做的事感到过遗憾。与你相伴是我此生最大的幸福。假如能再活一次，我仍然想要认识你，和你相伴终生，尽管还得再次喝咸咖啡。” 她的泪水浸透了信纸。一天，有个人问她：“盐咖啡是什么味道的？”她回答：“是甜的。” 附；原文 Salty Coffee He met her at a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, and she thought to herself, "Please, let me go home..." Suddenly he asked the waiter, "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee." Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously,"Why you have this hobby?" He replied, "When I was a little boy,I lived near the sea, I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there." While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness,he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home... Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance,was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to theprince, and then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it. After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said, "My dearest,please forgive me, forgive my whole life's lie. This was the only lie I said to you -- the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything... Now I'm dying, I'm afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth, I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste... But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again." Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked her, "What's the taste of salty coffee?" She replied, "It's sweet." |
