新闻选材五要素

冲突性
如果你密切关注每日的新闻故事，你会发现多数故事都有几分冲突在内。冲突的新闻价值在于：作为人，我们很自然地对冲突感兴趣。想一想你读过的任何一本书，看过的任何一场电影，其中都有冲突。没有冲突，就不会有文学也不会有戏剧。
出人命
新闻界有一句俗语：血淋淋，方引人。这句话的意思是任何涉及出人命的故事都有新闻价值。许多故事既出人命又损失财产，比如一场火灾。很明显，出人命比损失财产更重要，写文章要注意这些。
地域性
地域性是一件事发生的地理位置离你的读者或观众有多远。一场伤及数人的火灾在事发地是重大新闻，在邻镇就会无足轻重。
时效性
在新闻界人们倾向于关注发生在当日，此时此刻的事。因此即时新闻要比发生在一周前的更有价值。时效性的另一因素是时事性。时事性是讲发生的故事要能持续引起读者的兴趣。
新颖性
新颖性是指任何意料之外的背离正常的事件都有新闻价值。
懂得如何选材很必要，掌握写好新闻的技巧也很重要。

Do you want o start covering stories as a student reporter on a school paper or as a citizen journalist writing for a website or a blog? How do you decide what is newsworthy?
conflict If you look closely at the stories that make the news every day, most of them will have some element of conflict. Conflict is newsworthy because as human beings we’re naturally interested in conflict. Think of any book you’ve ever read or movie you’ve ever watched---they all have some type of conflict. Without conflict, there would be no literature of drama. Loss of life There’s an old saying in the news business: If it bleeds, it leads. It means any story involving loss of human life will be newsworthy. Many stories have both loss of life and property destruction, for example, a house fire. Obviously loss of human life is more important than property destruction, so write the story that way. Proximity Proximity has to do with how close an event is geographically to your readers or viewers. A house fire with several people injured might be big news in your hometown’s newspaper, but maybe no one will care in the next town. Timeliness In the news business we tend to focus on what’s happening this day, this hour, this minute. So events are happening now are often more newsworthy than those that happened a week ago. Another factor that related to timeliness if currency. This involves stories that may have not just happened but instead have an ongoing interest in your audience. Novelty The idea, of course, is that any deviation from the normal，expected course of events is something novel, and thus newsworthy. Not only is it necessary to know how to choose what to write, but also it is important to have a good knowledge of skills in writing a good news article. |
